Look of the Week: “Pink Pinup!”

Look was created with my new AVON “LiquiGlide” Eyeliner in Black. Under eye Shadow, Blush and Lipgloss by Saphora!

Had such an AWESOME time working as both a Model and Makeup Artist at the Re/Dress NYC Indie+ Fashion Show! So sad to see the Re/Dress store go but I love how it continues to be celebrated! Loved working with all the Models and the Designers of Sweet Tooth and Size Queen clothing! You all are so amazing! A true dream come true :)

As if working with The Glamazons at NBC Studios wasn’t awesome enough, that same night I worked with them again as they headlined “The Big Girlie Show” at Le Poisson Rouge! Its always a pleasure when you get to give a client two completely different makeup looks in one day. For NBC during the day I gave the girls more of a Glam Look and for their night performance at the Big Girlie Show it was all about their signature Pinup Look! Here are a few snaps:

On Thursday, November 4th I had the BEST time ever working with The Glamazons for their segment on NBC’s New York LIVE! It was such a thrilling experience to not only paint my Artistry on the beautiful Glamazons faces but to also have them wear my Makeup Art on such a major television network that is NBC!!! It was an amazing feeling to know that my work was seen by so many! The Glamazons looked so beautiful and I was so proud to be one of the reasons behind that! Top that feeling off with also meeting and exchanging information with THE Makeup Artist for NBC and trust when I say…it was the greatest high I’ve felt so far! :)

Me and the Models who will be the Characters of Eva Tremaine’s new book “Seven Again!” It was such a pleasure helping those characters come to life with my Makeup! Can’t wait to receive my copy and see the amazing results :)

My makeup look for the “Eddy and Bri” Plus Size Boutique Launch Party! Played with some pink mascara once again…received plenty of compliments on this look! Pink Lashes just may become my new signature ;)

Hey All!!! My name is Camelia Shantelle and I am a Plus Size Model and Makeup Artist! I have been in the Freelance Makeup World for a few years now so I decided to share some of my work here on Tumblr! I began my Makeup Artistry by working as my own Makeup Artist for my Photo shoots and Runway shows. As Models started to inquire about my skills I began to venture out and found myself building a clientele of fellow Models, Musicians, Photographers, Designers and more! My Makeup Artistry has always been inspired by color and motivated by my constant need to educate and grow my brand. I will be using this site as a platform to also share events I attend, makeup tips, my favorite makeup products, and of course a “look of the week” featured on myself! My “Look” this week was inspired by the pink mascara I own and the rope style headband I created. It was my first time trying pink mascara so I wanted it to be a focal point that would catch the eye. I paired it with thick liner (enough to cover the eyelid) natural looking false lashes (with black mascara over all lashes except the outer corner where the pink mascara is) and a magenta lipgloss with bronze glitter spotted on top. To finish, I added bronzer in the crease of my cheekbones to create depth after a pop of pink color on the apples of my cheeks! Enjoy!!!
